HIS Contracting was referred to me in 1999 for a new roof, painting the entire outside of the house and misc odd items around the house to be fixed. I liked Dan from the moment I met him. He was very polite, thorough and detailed in his explanation of what was wrong and what needed to be fixed and how he was going to fix it. He got me a quote in a timely manner, started the job in a timely manner and finished in a timely manner. Dan kept me informed of each day’s progress and the house was clean and clear at the end of each work day.

I used him again a few years later to paint the inside of the house and put in new carpet. Again, wonderful job and his crew could be trusted to be left alone while I went off towork each day. His son Taylor is also very pleasant to work with and does a wonderful job. When I sold the house last year it still looked great!

When I bought my new house I had him do some MAJOR remodeling in the kitchen and had slate put on my fireplace. He was very hands on and was there everyday. His work is very detailed and again the house was left clean everyday. He did a BEAUTIFUL job. When I am ready to remodel my bathrooms you can best bet I will be calling HIS Contracting for the job.

Dan Pagano has been our contractor since 1987.  He has painted our house, inside and out, built a car port, fixed leaks in the roof, replaced rotten boards and many other projects that come with owning a 40 year old house.  The latest job was to replace windows with thermal ones.  He has done an excellent job with every one of these projects.  Dan is very reliable and completely honest.  He hires workers who are trustworthy, and he stands behind his work in every way.  We have trusted him with a key to the house and had him do some of the work while we’ve been out of town.  I heartily recommend Dan and his company, HIS Contracting, to do jobs, large and small, around the house.

Dan Pagano and his crew at His Contracting have been fabulous to work with.  I have been working with Dan for approximately 3 years and each experience has been a pleasant one.  His Contracting has replaced all the siding on my house with Hardi-Plank, repainted the entire house both inside and outside.  They have remodeled my master bath entirely as well as my hall bath.  Just recently, I had the experience of my house flooding.  Dan and his crew came over immediately, which was after hours, and helped me “mop” up my house.  I can never thank them enough for all their help.  Dan has always been honest with me as well as pointed out ways to save money along the way.  His honesty, craftsmanship and dedication for getting the job done the right way are impeccable.  His Contracting will be my choice for all future renovations.

Dan, Now that the work has been completed in my home I just wanted to thank you again for the wonderful job and for making this remodeling truly stress free. My bathrooms and kitchen look even better than I had originally imagined. It's not often in today's world that one feels comfortable in leaving house keys with a stranger to work in your home. Your honesty and integrating was very evident from the moment I first had you provide an estimate. One of the greatest services you provided to me was the continual updates on what to expect and what was completed. I never had to wonder if you were at the house on any given day and what I going to come home to. The updates were wonderful and the way you always cleaned up when the days work was done was great. Never was there a mess when I came home. I also greatly appreciated the way you always checked and rechecked to make sure everything was done correctly so that there would not be problems down the line. Most companies today are focused more on getting the job done as quickly as possible but you always took the extra time to be sure it was right. Thank you for that. It was a blessing for me to have His Contracting Company work in my home.

Dan Pagano was hired as a subcontractor by the general contractor we had hired to do a major remodel of our master bedroom and bathroom. HIS Contracting was responsible for all of the sheetrock work, all of the door and closet door  painting and hanging and all of the painting. All of the work that they did was done extremely well and on schedule and we will not hesitate to use Dan and his people again for other work we need to do in and around our house, this time hiring him as the main contractor. Dan is one of the most likeable guys you will ever meet. On one of the days that Dan was working at our house my wife fell ill and the doctor told her that she needed to go to the Emergency Room. Even though I was only 20 minutes away, Dan offered to drop what he was doing and drive her to the hospital so that I could just meet her there. Talk about going above and beyond. To write a reference for HIS Contracting and not mention Dan’s son, Taylor, would be a crime. Taylor was brought in on our bedroom and bathroom remodel to custom build our bathroom cabinetry. Initially he was just hired to build the under-the-sink cabinets, but his work was just so magnificent that we hired him independently to build a matching over-the-counter cabinet. We were so impressed with that piece that we later hired him to build an extremely custom vanity table and stool to fit a very awkward space. That piece needed to match some store-bought bedroom furniture that we already had and Taylor did an exceptional job designing and making the perfect piece. Like Dan, Taylor is extremely likeable and his work is incredible. We will certainly be using him again in the future.

Our house flooded; after the water was removed I had to replace all of the flooring (hardwood and carpet) as well as base boards and molding. I needed help and direction. HIS came to the rescue. Dan supplied me with supplier's names, brought replacement flooring samples to our house, met with me at his suppliers. When I finally decided which hardwood I wanted he insisted that I go to the supplier's showroom to actually walk on the flooring I had chosen to know how it felt once laid. I am grateful for that! I would have made a BIG mistake; I went with a different hardwood.

I recommend HIS CONTRACTING. I found Dan to be responsive; he notified me when and how many cartons where being delivered; reliable called to confirm delivery; thorough; advised how to store the cartons to allow the wood to adjust to the house; stopped by the each day to check on the work being done; helpful to the point of putting soft felt caps on all of my chair legs before I placed them on the new hardwood floor and helping to place all of my furniture back in place.

I will contract HIS CONTRACTING for any projects/modifications/repairs in the future.
